Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026 · Beta
Sallo (“we”, “us”) is a date and day-out planning app for urban India. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it while Sallo is in beta.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address (via Google sign-in or email code) and the name you choose to share.
- Profile inputs: gender, age range, and your city or neighbourhood — used only to personalise your plans.
- Planning inputs and plans: the preferences you enter when generating a plan, generated beta plan outputs, and the plans you save.
- Reviews: ratings and reactions you submit after a date, used to improve plan quality.
How we use it
- To generate and personalise your plans. Planning inputs are processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini) and venue data comes from Google Maps Platform.
- During beta, to review generated plan quality, venue fit, failures, and cost-control behaviour before launch.
- To keep your saved plans available across sessions.
- To contact you about Sallo — we won't spam you, and we never sell your data.
Where it lives
Your data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the Asia-Pacific region) and protected with per-user access controls. Only you can read your profile, plans, and reviews.
Your choices
You can edit your profile in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we'll handle it promptly.
